Christmas is coming to one of the most enchanting amusement park encounters ever made. Universal Orlando Resort declared that a new and magical celebration of Christmas is coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter as part of its destination-wide Holiday festivity.

In addition, a brand- new parade highlighting Macy’s will likewise join Universal’s epic line up of Holiday encounters – making Universal Orlando the “place to be” for Holidays.

These new encounters will join adored Holiday traditions at Universal Orlando for the destination’s 2017 Holidays festivity, which will take place from November 18, 2017 to January 6, 2018.

Celebrate Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Christmas is an extraordinary time in the Harry Potter series, and fans from any part of the world have long desired to experience that piece of J.K. Rowling’s fascinating story for themselves. This November, the new Christmas involvement in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will give visitors a unique chance to see, feel and even taste what it resembles to commend the enchantment of Christmas in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.

As night falls, a marvelous holiday transformation of Hogwarts palace will occur right before visitors’ eyes. Unbelievable cutting edge projection mapping and special effects will wrap the iconic castle – bringing Christmas spirit and memorable moments from the Harry Potter series to life more than ever.

Ornate garlands and other festive decors will line the streets of both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Every facade will be decked out with interestingly-themed decorations, and visitors will enjoy special holiday-themed food, beverages, and entertainment.

Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s

Another new holiday parade encounter will also join Universal Orlando’s resort-wide festivity starting November. Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will be held at Universal Studios Florida and highlight great new, fabulous floats and balloons, and beloved characters like the mischievous Minions from Despicable Me, famous DreamWorks characters from Madagascar and Shrek – and even Santa Claus himself. Universal is collaborating with Macy’s, the worldwide pioneer in balloon entertainment, to bring this brand-new parade experience to reality. More details will soon be revealed.

Universal Orlando’s resort-wide Holidays festivity will take place every day starting November 18, 2017 until January 6, 2018. Access to the merriments is incorporated in regular admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Visitors can now book a special get-away bundle to experience all of Universal’s epic Holidays entertainment.
