General information

See below for some general tips and advice about the park to help you make the most out of your visit to Busch Gardens and have an amazing and unforgettable experience!

Rides:

Be aware that most rides have specific height and health requirements as safety precautions. To avoid any disappointment, check out these requirements before you go.

Water rides – you are likely to get very wet! It is therefore useful to wear a poncho to keep you dry or bring a towel and a spare change to clothes. (Note – if you want to buy a poncho, you can purchase these at the gift shops in the park itself).

TIP: To save money, pick up a poncho from one of your local supermarket as this will be much cheaper than buying a poncho at the parks gift shop which is likely to be overpriced!)

There are lockers nearby to the rides where you can keep your valuables safe and dry whilst on the water rides. You can use these lockers as many times as you want throughout the day. The average price of renting a locker is :

  • Standard size (7.5”h x 13”w x 18”d) = $10
  • Large size (10.5”h x 16.5”w x18”d) = $15
  • Jumbo (13.5”h x 22.5”w x 18”d) = $20

Animal exhibits:

For best encounters with the animals, try and visit the exhibits when the weather is cooler and during the mornings or evenings as the animals are more likely to be interactive and sociable at these times.
